I've searched for a while on here and i cant find an answer anywhere. I just bought my PS3 and i hooked it up to my wired router and i cant seem to get the internet to work on the PS3. I used the same exact ethernet cord that i had my PS2 hooked up to that has been hooked up to my PS2 forever.i tried messing with all of the settings in the PS3 Network connection settings. Nothing seems to work and i am about to just take the PS3 back and get a new one. Any Help is appreceiated.

plug your ps2 back in, go to your network settings setup and copy the settings exactly, then put those settings on the PS3. Good luck.

i figured it out all i had to do was unplug my modem and plug it back in. Thanks for the help anyways
