All you need is your drive key. Read the firmware on the drive. Open the firmware with Toolbox. It'll give you your drive key.
What drive do you have?

All you got to do is if your drive is working at all, is get the key off it ,doesnt matter if you flashed it first before making a back up.Then get a orig bin and place your key in the orig bin ,flash it back to orig.You can DL a orig bin for any drive if you search for it,by typeing modfreakz in google.<(hint)

Does your xbox work right now?If so read the key from the hacked firmware that is on it.Or are you saying that your xbox is dead doean't read DVD's or games?Other word's you put a blank firmware on your drive and it hasn't worked sence you flashed it.

Easy enough then.Go to the place I told you to google Look for the orig firmware for your drive,Dl it.Then do a backup of your drive now with the hacked firmware onit,OPen the firmware with toolbox get your drive key,write it down save it somewhere,plus save the thing on your HD.And I think its toolbox (been awhile)That you can put that key from the hacked firmware on the orig firmware save it. then flash it back to stock form.If you have any trouble there is guides you can use also.Or just ask around.

Long as you read that key number from the firmware That is currently onit,and put it on the orig firmware,yes it will play orig games.Dont flash that on there tho with getting that key and putting it on the orig firmware.

He said he flashed it before making a backup and now it only reads dvd movies, therefore the key is trashed and the 360 is a paperweight.
