Has anyone had a chance to play this on the Wii yet? I saw it on the shelves at Walmart and am anxiously waiting for next payday so that I can buy it. Please post your thoughts, likes, dislikes here.

the wiimote is utilized and is placed inside of the les paul replica. I have heard that when you hit the star power that the guitar actually rumbles to give you a more feel to the game. Also all missed notes are sounded out of the wiimotes which is cool when doing the co-op cause it tells you who is the one screwing up.

Since this is relatively new, I think it may be awhile before the guitar can be bought by itself. IMO

yea i saw that at toysrus its 60 bucks what a ripp off, espceially since on the wii version most of the work is being done by the wiimote

You can actually play with the wiimote alone but its very difficult. It's hard on easy, extremely difficult on medium, and almost impossible on hard. Its so frustrating that it definately takes the fun out of it. I'll just wait until they sell the guitars as a stand alone so that I can buy a second one.
