hi

I got a wiikey mod wii and my update is at 2.1 I believe. I am not planning to play and Pal wii game on my wii just the ntsc wii games. My question is that should I update to the most current update now or should I just leave it alone. If I should update my wii, should I update it thur the wii internet update or just find a ntsc game like mario brother galaxy which I heard have the new update and let that game update for me? My other question is the brink wii question. Is the only way to brink your wii is if you put in a pal game and it update with the pal firmware? So as long as I don't stick any pal wii game in my mod wii then I shouldn't have to worry about brinking my wii?

yes and no .

yes,you can where you at right now don't have to update the new sys firmware for wii.You can play most your backup games.

No,if you not update it to the new current firmware then you can not play the new games relesae , or some new games will update it for you with out noted . at long as you not put Pal games in there you will be ok.

then if a pal game accidentally lands in your wii there will be no tears

i dont understand why people are so loathe to update?

i update before i put ANY new disc in!
