PSP won't turn on..flashing orange light?

I left the charger in overnight and there was an orange light, while it was charging i wasn't able to turn the psp on. When it was done(no more orange lightt)it wouldnt turn on. I tried taking the memory chip,umd and battery out and plug it to the ac adapter and i get a flashing orange light. I am not able to turn the psp on with the battery in the psp and i dont get lights unless i take out the battery and plug it into the ac adapter.

are u sure because even if i take the battery out and plug the ac adapter into it, the flashing orange light comes

i think yes also coz when u put the battery in the light dont show up is it??the power input might cannot detect ur battery n tht makes sense r8??

yup ur yoou right smae thing was happening to my friend

the only way he could use his psp was when it was pluged in and he had just bought it the day before
