Hi everyone, sorry this must be such a overdone question, I have looked on a good few of the threads so I'm not being lazy. I guess this topic goes in here too as it is software boot.

Which is the best software in terms of compatibility such as HDadvance/ HDloader etc?

Are there fixes for pretty much everything? Games I play most are FF/ god of war etc.

Are the loading speeds bearable? I've heard they are quite slow.

One word answers will be ok I can look things up more in depth later, I just wanted a human's reponse and opinion to my queries.

Thanks

Sorry to be annoying, I'm getting confused by looking at too many threads relating to the same thing.
I looked on HD loader's site and it said it was only available in ntsc, is this really the case? I don't want to swap discs anymore as it is so tedious, had enough of swap magic. I also read about utilising the memory card exploit to trigger a HD.elf or something along those lines?
thanks for any help.

running games from an external hdd is slow. the ps2 is only usb1.1. you might as well stick to discs.

if you want to have nearly lag-free games, get a fat ps2, network adapter, and a hefty size IDE connection hdd.

playing online is not possible from the hdd. the dnas test will fail.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
