Cant Explore PSP Folders in Windows

MY PSP goes into USB mode just fine and my computer recognizes it as a removable disk (e:\). When I try to open the device through windows it states, E: not formatted, do you want to format? I first formated my MS through my PSP and it was not working. I decided to give windows FAT a try, and it could not complete. I also tried FAT32 for fun (I know PSP uses FAT system) and it also said it could not complete.

Is it a bad memory card? Or something else?

I believe I just confirmed my 2gb SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo Magic Gate card is fake, persay the tutorial. Mine shows to have 1959 formated, just like the tutorial stated. I suppose that could cause the problem.
