My wiikey modded Wii (PAL)(3.1e) runs all my PAL backups perfectly.
Since I am such a poolshark I definitely want to play Pool Party (only NTSC) so I thought let's run Wiikey setup 1.2 .... result remove disk reset blabla. Okay lets move on to setup 1.2. result the same story... Okay trick 3 a GCOS bootcd,however same ol'sad story.
What can I do to make my wiikey regionfree?
The only Wiikey cd that works for me is the 1.9b update, however this does not solve my problem.

sorry i don't have an answer to your question! But i was wondering if you could help me out. I also have a wii with software 3.1e pal and i have installed a wiikey clone but i can't find a setup disc that will work. What is the file you used to set yours up?
I am pretty confident that the installation is ok, as when i put in the wiikey setup disc 1.2 it shows up as a GC disc and i've read in many forums that this means the setup is ok.
Same problem here on a PAL Wii(3.1E). Upgraded the Wiikey to 1.9g, then ran the 1.3 config disc which worked once, and now it no longer works. I never changed any settings when I ran it that 1 time either.
