I have an mds file that is 6.4 gb and I am wondering since I don't have any dual layer discs if there is a way to burn it onto multiple dvd-r's.

If this is a movie as Rotary has asked then you could just open up the file DVD Shrink using the "File", "Open Image" option and go from there.

You could then just Shrink it to put it on one disk or split it and put it on two disks this is up to you. :-)
