crystal chip 1.0 psx game boot-problem

Hi!

I have got a fat PS2 with a crystal chip 1.0 installed. Mostly it workd fine to boot ps2 games. But when i try to play psx games it is very wierd. The game boots but the lower part of the screen is black and the game video is pushed up and the sound is to slow mostly and lags. Thats in the menu and when i try to play it it works but everything is unsynced and works very bad. Any idea how to solve this?
