I just bought a PS3 40gb model and love it, Is it possible to connect a external HD to the system? as I couldnt afford the 80GB model. Is it done via the USB? or is their another way, and can you store all you games/demos on it etc? thanks.

whats the best external to get for it compatability wise?

yes, you can connect a external hd to via USB.You just need to search for esata cable
you can use any hd
