burnout dominator Pal to NTSC question

hey guys, i have the Pal .iso of burnout dominator. my ps2 is the american version.
ive used the ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix.exe to convert the pal .iso to ntsc. and used image burn to brun to disc.
I got it to load up only once with swap magic 3 with the NTSC on and the special boot.
The problem is when it did boot it had the rolling screen and there was 2 of everything.
So i started over and used the convert program but this time selected the PN selector in hopes it would load and allow me to choose 60hz. i then used image burn and still this dics wont boot up properly. can anyone help with some suggestions im really desperate at this point?
