Okay, so I've dumped the games using wxRipper, and it all went well! I've gotten the Security Sector and merged it with the .iso using SS Merger 1.7b. I've burned the .dvd image to a disc using both imgburn and CloneCD! When I put it in the Xbox, it goes to the White Screen with a bunch of languages saying to put this in an Xbox 360 Console!
Now I have an ms28 drive that I'm pretty sure that I flashed (using the bad flash method), because it said that the dump and flash was successful.
Also, when I put it in the Xbox 360, instead of saying the game name on the Drive, it says "Play DVD"! Is this normal for it or what?
Not normal at all. If it is recognizing it as a media disc rather than a game then something in the process you used to make it, or the flash, went wrong. I personally never used that method.
When ripping the game does the program you use give you an option to use "splitvid" format? If it does then do not use that format.
No, it doesn't give an option like that, when I'm ripping the game! I've used wxRipper before, and it has worked fine, so I think it may be a bad flash!
So my next question is, can I just do the method to flash it again, or do I have to put the Original Firmware on it, and then Flash it?
Okay, I don't think it was the Flash, because I've tried earlier FW's and it still says "To Play This Game, put it in an Xbox 360 Console"! I'm wondering if it had something to do with the SS files! Because, they didn't match up in SS Merger (the bars were RED) and people say that is normal! But is it normal when the SS.bin may seem longer then the MD5?! I'm going to try burning a different game and see if that works!
So, so far Stranglehold and PGR4 are giving me that White Screen, and not working!
I tried backing up Dead Rising, but I still get the white screen with "To play this game..."! I decided to put the Game into the Pioneer 111D and see what it would do (the burned game, not the original), and it thinks it's a DVD Movie, and wants to play it! I opened up My Computer and it says that there is only 5.31MB on the Disc?! I play one of the video files, and it was that White Screen Error that says "To Play this game..."! Does anyone know why this is happening?! Do you think it's the backups problem, or the Firmware?! I don't have enough cash to get the DVD Burner that can read 360 games, so I have to hold off on that for now!
