I have Swap Magic Coder v.3.8 & it works great. Is there a way for me to make a memory card softmod for my friend so he can play backup PS2 games without using Swap Magic? He has a fat PS2.

You could take his mc and make an exploit installer cd that when loaded will install to his mc when booted. He would have to have a PS1 disk to boot though and use a slide card.
That way you could put what elf files you want on the exploit, and he could swap disks using cogswap.
So basically your using his mc and your swap magic, you make the exploit and then boot it with swap magic, then install it to his memory card. When loaded on his ps2 it should then boot to ulaunch.elf and from there he can browse to what elf he wants to load.
He then takes the mc you just installed the exploit too, and boots it with the PS1 disk that you chose. He then is able to load cogswap through ulaunch.elf on his mc and play backups with the slide card.
