when i found out what i was doing wrong i wrote this in cmd

msinst.exe E msipl.bin
then it told me

psp ms ipl installer
241664 bytes(59 block) readed
cannot open logical drive what to do

im list plzz help

If you're running Vista, then use Larry's guide(The Multi IPL[it's stickied]) or you can use Deez_Nutz's guide for making the Ultimate Pandora's Memory Stick.That's not stickied, but if you decide to use the UPMS then ask me.

ok i am running vista but i did this on my other computer which is a xp

now for the bad news as of today my xp has not been booting up it says some system39 file is missing or currupted

and the keyboard is now F*CKED up (i got mad an broke it)
but hey i gatz 5 keyboards so yea

now i heard like 20 times tht the cmd for the magic mem stick does not wrk on vista
YET on youtube someone had a guide o how to make it work
it was unfortunately to small to see -__-

now i really am getting tired, hopeless and wanting to torch my psp
i soldered my battery so i dont need 2 hear abot it

if this SH*T wont work i may be forced 2 sell my psp
cause ofw 3.71 really sucks

i came to this forum because i figured u guys were the big bosses but it seems alot of people are having the same problem

soo plz help me
i have a friend who has custom firmware but his is homemade (as in he made it) an he's being a bitch an wont help so yea

if u gatz advice plz help or e-mail me at

cummon i dont have legal access 2 a homebrew psp

and these easy installers are real pieces of sh*t

i googled it and they said somthing about an urban dictionary
and a forum about how good he is with psps but thts it
