i've recently bought a psp of ebay that does'nt read umd's after reading up on the problem i've worked out that the disc is spining and the laser is coming on so it still works, but the laser head is not moving back and fourth does anyone know what wrong and how to fix it thanks

Take it to a specialist, unless you know how to take apart the PSP, find out the problem, and fix it.
