I DOWNLOADED A PSX GAME EBOOT AND I TRIED TO PUT IT ON MY PSP IN THE GAME SECTION AND WHEN I PRESS X ON IT IT SAYS "THE COPYRIGHT PROTECTION INFORMATION IS INVALID" CAN I FIX THAT? I'M RUNNING SONY FW 3.71

IM SOO TIRED OF U NOOBS POSTING ALL IN CAPS! STOP IT AND READ THE RULES!

OK here, common sence, would sony make it so you can ILEGALY DOWNLOAD AND PLAY games for free! Its just like the police allowing you to but guns from the local ammu-nation shop. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

sorry to snap like that binkie, its just you have no idea how many people do this! from pointless threads, to posting their emails, to writing all in caps! one day you're going to get tired, know what i mean :(

Believe me it isn't just the console forums that this stuff happens - sigh...

To answer your question, only a custom firmware psp can play psx games that people convert to eboot. Official firmware can only play games from the playstation store or whatever it is called.
