I understand where your comming from, however you must remember that some people have illnesses and dissabilities. When they see this stuff they think its normal to kill people.
I personnaly don't like to play them sort of games. Others do and its up to them if they like it. Why would you want to corrupt your mind with that sort of stuff. Manhunt is a bit too extreme.

I don't get what the big deal is. Whats the difference between playing games with shooting and using swords on people and this game? In either games, your still killing somebody.
Regarding the graphical nature, if someone is willing to snipe someone in the head on COD3, they shouldn't have any problem with seeing the reults of the head shot up close, if they do, then they are pu$$ies who shouldn't be playing games with shooting/killing in the first place.
Regarding kids playing games that are not fir for them, its their parents job to know and dictate what their kids are doing, not the game developers.

There are parental controls on games and now on consoles and p.cs. But the problem is most parents dont no the first thing about how to monitor what there kids are doing.
Anyway i was curious about what all the fuss was about thats why i want it. How can i get my hands on a version that i can play on my PS3. Is there anywhere i can buy the game at all in UK?

maybe aswell as a age limit, there should be a sanity test aswell, conducted by the shop owner :oD I just think that apart from the brutal killing, manhunt WAS a really good game, graphics were mint, very much like Grand Theft Auto, and it had a really good sense of "scary" throughout the game, really made me jump a couple of times. I dont think a game like that should be spoilt and banned because of a couple of nutters whould would have prob done what they did weather they played the game or not! excuse my poooor spelling!

Being that i don't have a PS3, only help I can offer is to let you know what all the fuss is about is pretty much in the trailers linked below. The first link is a comparison between the original man hunt, man hunt 2, and the hacked uncut man hunt 2. The second are just videos of different types of kills.

Actually, Psychologists have done studies where people who play these types of games are less likely to actually commit the type of acts in the game.

Not to contradict the study but I'd like to see it for myself, where did you get the information pertaining to that study.
