I've been gettin a bunch of these errors latley. my burner is a brand new lite-on LH-20A1H(updated firmware), I replaced my old LG because of pixelated playback, clone errors(mainly cyclic redundency), coasters(i use only verbs or taiyo's) ect....
Is ther anyone else thats having similar issues?
any insight is totally appreciated.
wait........(edit).........let me do a clean re-install, but it will still be about a week or so until i buy the new releases, and at least another week until i get a chance to watch the back-ups......so .....any feedback is still much appreciated!

a cycle redundency error has to do with a dirty disk! Make sure your disk is free of smudges, finger prints or scratches. If it's a new disk try to bring it back to the store for an exchange for another copy! Even new disks have bad presses and can come back with cycle redundency errors.

Thanks for the reply folks, but........i'm still getting these errors. i know "cyclic redundency" is a dirty disc error. none of my discs were dirty in any way. as far as being a bad press, doubtful(a friend just burned a copy of LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, which my burner would'nt....same exact dics!,same programs....and the blanks were from the same bundle also!).
i tried cleaning the drive too, but no success. i've even tried multiple programs to, like DVD FabDecrypter w/DVD RB,1-Click w/AnyDVD, and ripped it to HD then thru VoBlanker and Fix VTS.
and there's always some type of playback issue.
i think this drive is junk!? im ready to throw it at the neighbors cat! unless anyone else has thinks they might have a fix(my backup issues...not the cat)
thanks again

wouldn't hurt to exchanged the drive for a new one. there should be no reason for these errors on a constant basis for a new drive.

I have had a lot of luck with DVD Fab Platinum. You might try that

with all the programs he has tried already, including dvdfab decrypter, I can confidently state that software is not the issue.

@narcismo: have you checked to make sure you hae the latest firmware for your drive?
edit: yes you have I should read a little closer
I would exchenge the drive for a new one. This one is possibly out of calibration or just a lemon from the factory.

One other thing to try that may help is to go into the device manager and remove the DVD drive from the list there. Then reboot and let Windows reinstall the drive properly. If there is a DMA problem, that will fix it. Its worth a try.
