Hey i'm a super noob and i don't know much about electronics and hacking and stuff, just basics. By the way if this is in the wrong section, sorry mods.
So i have a hacked fat psp. On it, i have 1.50 firmware and 3.40 OE-A. I want to know how to put ps1 games on my psp. I downloaded the Bios, Psx-P Beta, and a test game, mortalkombat 4. I put everything in, and i tried running it. i run it, and it freezes up on me. How can i change this? and can the explanations be in layman terms? thanks so much.
By the way this is what my root looks like:
psp
|Game 150
|%__SCE__PSXP
|Eboot.PBP
|__SCE__PSXP
|BIOS
|SCPH1001
|memcards (empty folder)
|Config (empty folder)
|Roms
|DOCUMENT (DAT file)
|EBOOT.PBP (mortalkombat 4)

If you've got 3.40oe you can use sonys own psx emulator that runs 100x better than any homebrew one all you need to do is have a psp game or iso (rip the game into iso) an then put it through autopopstation 4 and you will end up with a psx eboot which will run on the psp!

can you explain how to use sonys psx emulator on psp and the autopopstation?

try :
PSP/GAME/*****/EBOOT.PBP & Keys.bin
game name folder use caps(SPACE_FROGGER)

set it up like this ms_root:psp/game/mortal kombat 4/EBOOT.PBP & the DOCUMENT

that is how autopop makes it.

just put the EBOOT and DOCUMENT into a folder name the folder Mortal Kombat 4 and then put it in game

make sure tht the game kernel is set to 3.40 other wise it wont run
