I got a ps3 yesterday (meaning I have every 4th generation - current game system, oh yeah!) and I was told a few things that I am still not seeing (damn you game stop).

- Ps3's can load ps3 game files on the hard drive for faster loading and less lag
- PS3's can load ps2 games on the hard drive....etc.. same as ps3 games
- PS3 will soon get ps-home (similar to that of Xbox360 achievements system)
- Can I hook up my Custom Firm Wire PSP (3.40 OE-a) to the PS3, or will I have to get a legit one?

1) I think you misunderstood. Most games automatically, or giving you that option, load SOME data onto the HDD so it will load faster. You can't put the whole game on there. It depends on the game.
2) No, just no.
3) Home is expected in the spring, it's much more than the achievements system, but will have something like that as part of it.
4) sry I don't know that one.

Psp with custom firmware does work with the ps3 remote play feature.

1 thisi s for certain games. Oblivian put about a gig of data on youyr HDD and decreases loading
2 whoever told you this is an idiot lol, then bit torrent sites would be filled with these game images
- PS3 home is sorta like a habbo hotel with new gen graphics lol. acheivement systems im not sure about as i dont online game.
- 3.4 u can, but i suggest getting the latest 3.71 custom firmware as there has been changes to psp-ps3 connectivity over the past updates.

Playstation Home is going to be awesome. It will have an achievements system, but with so much more. A customizable room/home and an online community rolled into one. AWESOME!

PS home awesome... maybe, but IRC is so 90s... Even with audio and visuals...

What we need are games... Lots of good games. And I do not mean "those" lots of titels that are out and are coming..

No offense, but that is flat out wrong. I have been using custom firmware since 3.03......have a launch PS3. No remote play problems here. Its all about fixing the IdStorage keys. There are a few threads in the PSP Mod and Firmware forums discussing this.

I have helped several people fix thier PSPs and get remote play working flawlessly.
