ok,I searched and found nothing n how to do this right, here's what I've done so far
(1)Burned Narutimate Hero 3 To a Dvd-R disc with DvD Decrypter (2)put tissue in small hole, and duck tap over the other thing
(3)I had the fliptop installed before I did the tape mode but then removed it because the games werent spinning, not even normal games,so i put the orginal top on and they spin now.
so I put swap magic 3.6 in and my SLim PS2 model Is 70012,I have the burned game ready to swap, but Im not sure what to do,I did this so far
1.Put DvD ROM Driver in and when It got to the menu I switched with the burned game andthen hit X to normal boot an nothing happened and did special boot and same thing, can someone please tell me what to do and if I need to re-install the flip top to make it work,Im going crazy over here this is the 2nd slim ps2 I bought already so I can ply burned games/imports,cmon I really want to play so badly,I need the steps on how to start the burned games with swap magic to =(
You are doing it right.
Start Swap Magic.
When it gets to menu, the disc should be stopped and swap discs.
Choose Normal, then select either NTSC or PAL depending upon the game.
What region is your PS2 and what region is Narutimate Hero 3. Are they the same region.
Sorry I haven't responded,I had already got it working, and my ps2 is north american and the game is NTSC i thin thats what its called i forgot, but there's something else wrong, when i play Hero 3 the game takes very long on loading and skips/freezes on ougis and scenes, the game is on a maxell dvd+r disc,do I need a dvd-r to make it work bc im pretty sure i burned it right its not hard, the only thing normal about the game is when in main menuor selecting character or just fighting with no ougis.
Thats ok, and glad you got it working. Some PS2 version don't mind DVD+R and some don't like it at all. Your Maxell disks are fine.
The only thing is with the DVD+R you may have to change your booktyping to DVD-ROM.
Read #29 in this guide to understand which versions of PS2 like these disks.
And you can check here about Booktyping, and for different programs on how to do it.
