what can i do with a Moded 360? can i play PSX games on it?

Well I have a normal Xbox atm moded with a modchip, coustome dashboard, Media players, nintendo - PSX - Sega and way more emulators and a bunch of othere stuff.

I want to get an Xbox360 but first i want to know what it can do...
Can it play media like DIVX or XVID?
What types of emulators are there for xbox360? can it play PS2 games(with an emulator)?
Can the xbox 360 play normal xbox games w/o modding?
Can is rip games off the dvd to the HDD so you can play w/o the dvd?
will there be any problems if I mod the xbox360?

what would you say has more capabilities can do more things with) an Xbox OR the xbox360?

But I have seen on a website, somone was playing grand turismo 4 (only for PS2) on the 360.
