ok have a ms25 a via vt6421a pci sata card, ive read read and read on what might be going wrong but cant figure it out maybe someone could help...

today I recieved my via card so I installed and updated the drivers, I iprep my usb pen with the latest FW followed an excellent tut and that was successful, I changed my boot sequence and was able to get to my dos screen also removed any other drivers and disabled my sil3114 onboard Raid. Hooked my 360 up in what ive learnt the right way...

First I tried iDump (serial) but that just says general failure writing drive C

I then enter mtkflash r /m orig.bin and am given the option of choosing only 1: EXTREME Pri Master

wich i choose and it fails...

so i tried the 10sec trick a few times and it failed and stopped on 1%

any ideas on why it aint working?? Like i say ive tried looking but ive been at this all day...would be awesome to get some prof. help!!!

Turn on the 360
Boot the PC to dos
type "mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin"
Select Xtreme Primary
Open the orig.bin file in Windows using FWToolbox to see if you have a valid key.

Copy orig.bin to the ixtreme folder and run the "make xtreme firmware" command

Copy the newly created bin file to your pen drive.

Flash as normal with the command
"mtkflash w /m /sata ix12.bin"

ok i get as far the select primary, i press one and then i get

general failure writing drive C

abort, retry, ignore, fail
