Hey guys. My friend has his Slim with 3.71 m33-2. But he wants to downgrade to 2.71. Any suggestions on how to go about it??? I also have a Fat with CFW so I can make a Pan. Battery with some tweaks maybe??

Please help my friend by telling me how to downgrade from 3.71 M33-2 to 2.71 official firmware. Thanks for all!

you cant go from 3.71 M33-2 to 2.71 on a slim i dont think but u might like u said doing some tweeaks

maybe instead of putting a 1.5 eboot u put a 2.71

but i wouldnt do ti until someone else says its oks

i dont think that u can put 2.71 fw on the slim and it cant support the 1.5 kernal so the only thing that ur friend can downgrade to is 3.60 or 3.71 official. i think thats right but let somebody else comfirm before going ahead and doing w/e u want.

the things is... that i know the slim does not fully support the 1.5 kernel, but it should,like the newer fw's, support 2.0+ becuase it has it's own individual kernel mode. i belive, after some research, that the TIFF exploit for certain fw's does not use a kernel, rather a module, which, in logic, the slim supports. so the slim is capable of running tiff exploited homebrew.

all i need is for someone to tell me how to or make a magic mem stick with the pandora that will install 2.71 instead of the usual 1.5. any coders or maybe even DAX( yeah right :-P) help make this possible!!!

the psp slim CANNOT go under 3.60 firmware. it'll only accept 3.60 and above.

the psp slim motherboard (ta-085) was designed not to accept any firmware lower than 3.60. that's why the original universal unbricker and v2 didn't have a menu display on screen.

also, any homebrew that is 1.50 specific will not run on the psp slim.
