Hello.
My PSP System Software is 3.71 M33-2.
I have just downloaded FFVII from Utorrent, and I have totally no idea how do I put the files into the PSP so that I could play my long-missed Final Fantasy VII.
The contents of the FFVII folder is as follows.
FF VII (CD01)
FF VII (CD02)
FF VII (CD03)
popstation
OEB_UPDATE
all these are folders.
Inside the FF VII (CD01) folder, there are 2 files, namely EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN. Same goes for CD02 and CD03.
In the popstation folder, there are also 2 files, named popstation and readme. Being non tech-savvy, I could not understand the computer terms inside the readme. Hence I am pleading for your help in this informative website.
in the OEB_UPDATE folder, there lies a EBOOT.PBP file.
Will any kind souls please tell me how do I configure my files so that I can satisfy my lust of playing Final Fanasy VII on PSP?
Regards,
Leon.

take the EBOOT for disk 1, place it in a folder with the game name on (but keep it short ie. FF7d1), Then place this folder into the root:- X;/PSP/GAME folder. should look like this-
X:/PSP/GAME/FF7d1/EBOOT.PBP
Then run from the XMB. Once you get to the end of disc 1, save when it asks you, place the Disc 2 folder onto the psp (same method as above), load disc 2, continue from your save point. If youve got a big enough Mem stick you can put all the discs on if you want, aslong as you know what each one is! This should do it, WB if you need more help.

Hey, atatreedy, thanks for the reply.
I have tried your method, and I believe a problem that have popped up rendered the playing of FF7 inches away.
Upon transfering EBOOT.BPB into FF7d1, I am able to see the Final Fantasy VII logo under my GAMES section in my PSP. Without further ado, my desire to play resutled me in pressing the "X" button to launch the game.
To my horror, after several seconds of loading, a message that says
"The game could not be started."
"CA000005"
popped out all too suddenly.
How do I solve this problem?
I truly appreciate your help.
Regards,
Leon.

OH!!! May I know how do I save my Final Fantasy VII game? When I go to the crystal (ie save point), the memory card could not possibly be there.
Thanks in advance

Hello, i have downloaded the Autopopstation 4, and installed it.
i have also read the guide on how to use it and it seemed to work fine. and i put the result (in my case Gran_Turismo.iso) into the PSP/GAME folder, then when i open my game in the psp menu it says:
The copy write protection information is invalid.
Can someone PLEASE help me????????
If you arent living life on the edge your taking up too much space.
