i just got a new slim psp and it is v3.60 and i wanted 2 homebrew.

i have put the daedalus r13 onto my psp but when i start it it says "the game cannot be started. (80020148) can anyone help me plz

You need custom firmware to use homebrew. To downgrade 3.60 you will need the universal unbricker. Click on my name and you wil lsee a link to a guide

ok thanks. for the battery im gonna convert does it need to be a sony battery or can it be another type? also i dont hav a fat psp can i sstill do this through my slim?

It has to be an original fat PSP battery to use the application to make the battery or you can hardmod it, there is a compatability list on maxconsole forum

thanks 4 all ur help but i hav one more question how big is the risk involved in doing this... as i dnt want 2 ruin my new psp

I dont like to hardmod personally but with the battery creator app you cannot brick your PSP using this.

If you have not created Pandoras battery successfully it will not run at all.

Once you have pandoras battery or the UV Unbricker you can flash your PSP as much as you want without worrying too much as you will always have the pandora as a backup.

so pretty much if i mess up in creating the battery its wont ruin my psp i will just hav 2 get a new battery and try again?
meaning a low risk?

You cant mess up the battery with the application but when doing the hardmod it is possible but you can always resolder the wire back
