i had just installed a new hard drive on my computer and then when i started it i noticed i had no sound i tried doing the basic steps and i need help getting my sound back can someone help me what should i do ?

just google realtek '97 drivers, then d/l and install them and Viola! you have sound again

Download this free program, it will scan your computer and tell you which motherboard you have. After the scan at the bottom it will usually have a link to the motherboards website. It's best to download the correct drivers for your motherboard built-in soundcard xp or vista. Also make sure your built-in soundcard is enabled in the bios.

i need help with a friend because his computer has windows 95 or 98.
every time he boots up his computer it comes up with a massage saying
problem loading powrpal.dll and needs to be reinstalled.
where can i get ithe file!
