Strange Problem (PSP Won't PlayGames)

hi

I just bought a psp f/w 1.5. I have an other one successfully flashed to 3.71M33-2 f/w following the guides here. I went through the exact same procedure with my new one and is successfully on 3.71M33-2 f/w ............but it not play any of the games on memory stick. These games (same memory stick) will play on the other psp. Does anyone know whats the matter here? Thank you

P.S. It plays the PSX games ok

It would be helpful if you told us what the error message or the games are doing when you try to start the games.

Go HERE and follow the steps to try to get the ISO/CSO games working properly.

Sorry. No problem. The error code is as follows:

The game could not be started.

got it working


Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)

Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.

When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.

Now go to ADVANCED and press X.

Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.

Make sure all the settings here are disabled.

Now EXIT out of recovery.

Now try the ISO/CSO.
