Hey, I have Windows XP, and I am having so major computer trouble atm. Its mainly spyware, but at the moment, I try to get to the control panel, and it pops up with this message:

This Operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.

I have no other user accounts, and have been trying in safe mode, but to no avail. Any help guys?

Thanks man. Well, I know my computer has a virus, its got a Rootkey.Agent.ey, but i need to access control panel to get to the add/remove programs, which i cant access atm.

I have looked over your thread for this, which has been mega helpful, so i'll keep in touch with how it goes. Again, thanks.

You can remove programs through Start > Set Program Access and Defaults (if that's turned on).
