Lemme start off by saying, sorry for cutting straight to the chase...

I dropped out of the CFW and homebrew scene after 3.40 OE-A after I heard dax was dropping from the scene...SO, I was surprised as hell when I was looking for new emulators and saw he was back with 3.71 m33...

Now, I love what I?ve heard so far and I?m still kind of wary of upgrading atm...

First off, I have some major questions...

3.71 m33-2 has the 1.5 kernel or you still have to install that?

Will ALL my homebrew work, or will I have issues?

Are there many of the themes made, if so, where can I find them?

I heard the chances of bricking while moving to 3.71m33 are greater for some ungodly reason, are these accusations true?

See, you may call me a noob and flame me, But I love my psp on 3.40 oe-a, AAAAAAAND, I believe strongly in the fact that, if it aint broke don't fix it, but m33 looks nice, and I just wanna know...

Also got some questions about Pandora?s, but I?m sure I can find plenty on that

i was on 3.40OE-A for ages then i heard about the 3.71m33, i upgrade my psp to this and it worked great, then i upgrade 7 of my mates psp to the same firmware and they have had no trouble with it.

I can offer a bit of advise on what i know, im still on 3.52 M33-4 however cos it seems the most 'stable' firmware at the mo'.
With the 3.71 m33-2 CFW it DOESNT include the 1.5 kernel, you install it after the upgrade to 3.71 M33, aswell as the M33-2 upgrade.

As for your homebrew heres a quote fron the upgrade guide "you will find some people saying 3.71m33-2 is buggy,however this is not true it is as stable as 3.52m33-4 but will not be able to use some plugins because of the new programming from sony but as with any custom firmware programmers are already making plugins compatible for it"

As for themes, dont touch them myself, so dont know mate.

MY personal opinion is go for 3.52M33-4 for a while til u get used to it (youve gotta install 3.52m33-4 before 3.71m33 anyway), the majority of new games work on it (simpsons does and that came out monday!) and its VERY homebrew friendly. alot easier than 3.40 OE-A (in my opinion)

Also i've put 3.52M33-4 on mine and two friends PSPs with not a single problem by using the guides from this link -> Here
. use them, and theres an extremely low chance of a brick mate.

3.71M33-3 acts...Weird.

I personally has no problems with it, but I'm using 3.52M33-4 now. 3.71M33-3 has probably patched up most of the bugs of 3.71M33. I'd go for 3.71M33-3 if you don't use plugins.

Thanks guys, that clears a bunch of stuff up, so i guess i'll work with 3.52 m33-4 for a bit then prolly move up to 3.71m33
