I did have an error but i clicked "retry" in the middle of it to try to fix the problem and then it continued the rip until it was complete..
I then opened up ImgBurn, went to the folder I ripped the game to on my harddrive and there was only the .ISO image with no .dvd file... I set the layer break to "User Specified 1913760"..
Tried to set the booktype however the Pioneer 112D drive wasnt an option on the drive list...
I then clicked the big "write" button and this is what I got::
DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME)Failed!
Device: [1:1:0] PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112d 1.21 (D:) (ATA)
Unable to lock volume for exclusive access.
Reason: Access is denied
Whats wrong here and why didnt I have the .dvd file after ripping with xbc 2.4???
that has nothing to do with XBC. that happens when the drive is in use by another program... including programs running in your processes. that could be anything like AnyDVD or DVD Decrypter.... anything.
windows media center or windows media player will do this....cannot lock the drive to the program because another process on your machine is taking the resources to lock the drive only to xbc.....try imgburn....you can override the lock feature and it still burns, so you can still rock out on your PC while burning.
