I need to know whats the newest custom firmware I can run on my old ass PSP? (Aka "Fat PSP"..) And if CWCHEAT's can be run on it as I saw M33 uhh 3.71(?) has a version of it or will any version work?

I don't have access to a slim psp so I don't know if that will affect what firmwares I can use...

Thanks for any help :D

(Sorry if seems like an obvious question and theres probably plenty of guides out there but I just need someone to point it out.)

I don't want to double post I can't find an edit button. I'm running 3.40 OE-A at the moment if that makes a difference

Right in the top right corner of your post there's a button that looks like a notepad and a pencil. That's the edit button. And the newest firmware you can run is 3.71 M33-3, and I'm pretty sure the newest CWCheat will work on it.

Ah cheers I thought that was with the "link to this message" bit.

I'm trying to install M33 3.52 but It keeps telling me that it can't read the 150.PBP file. Ive tried everything I can think of to make it work (Format memory stick, Download it again, Download it again from other sources..) I just want to know if I can go straight from 3.40 OE-A to M33 3.52? Or do I have to install M33 3.51?

Yes, you can go from 3.40OE-A to 3.52 M33

you probably have a bad 1.50 eboot

get the right one from here HERE

and just name it 150 don't put the .PBP it should already have it

it's always best to upgrade from 1.50. sometimes upgrading from OE to m33 will have problems. has been confirmed by a few members.

also, just use the latest cwcheats. i'm using it on my psp slim with 3.71 m33-3 with no problems.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Yea, just like Game Genie, but I think for mostly newer games.
