Hi, could anyone guide me on how to revert a Pandora battery back to normal as I encountered a problem reverting it back. I use the option to back up the eeprom before creating the Pandora Battery. However when i try to revert it and use it normally, I run into problems when charging it. I could charge it but in the battery information on the psp always say that the percentage charge is always at 7% and the battery icon at the top right of the psp always shown as empty battery although it is full. Furthermore, the battery information time left mention that i can use the battery for about 8 1/2hrs left. I tried also to use someone else battery eeprom and the fake battery serial option as well but no success as well. Any ideas on how to get my battery to read the battery charge status properly again?
Thanks in advance.

Well you backed up the eeprom and put it back into the battery. It's acting like a regular battery as you said. I highly doubt it's your psp so you should try your friends original battery and check if all information is correct which im sure it will be. I dont recommend converting pandoras back to normal because there can always be defects like what you ran into.

I doubt you can do anything to save your battery. Why dont you try converting it into a pandora again, and redoing the process. You've got nothing to lose. Although it's not that big of a deal, your PSP holds the right amount of charge it should. If worst comes to worst then just change your battery bar [system_plugin.fg.rco] to a different one that doesn't blink when its low battery. Also, you can use a custom recovery mode i know about to give you the right battery life.

Thanks for your advice. I tried to convert it to pandora battery and back to normal one again several times already but also same problem. I did some research on other forums as well but it still does not work. I heard of others manually modding to get their batteries to work again but i don't think i would want to use that unless it is a last resort. I know it is not much of a deal but it can be a hassle when i exit games and i want to check how much battery juice i have left before playing other games or watching movies. It would be great if you could let me know of the custom recovery mode you mention about and maybe i can try to get it working.
Thanks again.

Take the battery out, plug your psp in and turn it on. Then, w/ teh battery still out, run the Pandora battery creator. Put the battery back in at this point and press SQUARE to revert back to a normal battery. Done.

So far when i was using it no other side effects other than the mess up reading of the battery power meter. It still holds the charge but gets kinda annoying when you are charging it and you can't tell how much the battery has recharge and while playing psp games and exiting, you can't tell how much juice the battery has. The first time I created the Pandora Battery while making sure to backup the EEPROM before I revert the battery back to normal was a success with no problems at all however the second time was no sucess as it kinda mess up my battery reading like now. I read somewhere where someone was saying that the Pandora Battery creator may have some glitches and when reverting the Pandora Battery using the backup EEPROM, the program may sometimes have error writing the last hex digit of the battery serial or something like that. To know whether the battery is low on power I have to use the green light blinking as evidence for low power. Any help guys on this problem?

i guess reading the light is the only way, when is blinking on red, must put the charger on, so you wont stop in middle of game! only the creator of the program can resolve this issue.

Which is why from day one-it said its recommended to use a spare battery for your pandora...The reason it says 7% is because that is what you had the battery at when you converted it initially...The problem is that you used not only the generic serial, but you used someone elses battery eeprom to attempt to recover your battery-not a good idea...

I am afraid there is not much else you can do to resolve your issue, aside from buying a new battery..Which by the way, did you try a different battery to see if your information reads correctly as DEVINRL suggested?

What I would do is convert the battery to pandora and leave it at that, and then go out and get yourself a new battery. Otherwise you will just have to go by what the lights on your psp tell you..

i see, well aside from the mass up reading, it should be fine to use right? just look at the power light. so can i still use those battery to make it to pandora battery?

like DEVINRL said "If worst comes to worst then just change your battery bar [system_plugin.fg.rco] to a different one that doesn't blink when its low battery. Also, you can use a custom recovery mode i know about to give you the right battery life.

where do i get the custom recovery mode to get the right battery life?

So, you're saying just keep trying this method until it works? (you stated earlier that guano's advice didn't fix it)

Yeah i did tried it many times. When i tried guano's advice, i took the psp battery out but the psp battery was in the normal mode but was reading 7%. I thought what guano meant was to place the normal mode battery in the pandora creator like what he said. What i miss out on is you have to make sure that the battery is reconverted to Pandora service mode first like what "samueldg" said before you actually try the following steps like "guano" and "samueldg" said. Big thanks to "guano" and "samueldg".
