User profile wont load in vista

I have set up a user account for my daughter in vista. It worked OK for a while but now it says it can't load the user profile and is using temporary settings.
Anyone had this before?

I had the same problem. The profile was deleted somehow and whenever I tried to log in again it would not create a new one. Log in as an admin and click on "My Computer" and go to properties. From there go to "Advanced system settings". Click on the advanced tab and click the "user profiles' settings button. Delete the profile connected to the account that has the problem and log out and log back that should fix it.
