here is the problem, ive been succesfully backing up my dvd's with any dvd, and clone dvd, never had no problems till i wanted to back up my movie "empire"-starring john leguizamo. here's what happens, i run both programs, clonedvd, and anydvd. when anydvd comes up with this message-- "warning failed to read dvd. this could have several reasons. 1. dvd media is dirty, you can try to clean it. 2.dvd media is damaged you have to replace it. 3.your drive is a region locked rpc2 drive wich does not allow ... blah blah... know drives having this problem are: ricoh/phillips dvd drives &matchista panasonic dvd writers.(i guess i dont apply, since i have a tdk420n writer n never had any problems before). 4. your drive is a rpc2 drive that has not been assigned a region, try to assign one, or try to find a rpc1 patched firmware." can anyone help? like i said before ive never had no problems till now, and even after this problem i backed up two more movies, so its something with the movie "empire" i guess, because when i flip it on the other side it doesnt look like a dvd movie back, normally they are kind of yellowish, and this movie doesnt appear that way, it looks more like a cdrom disk. if anyone has succesfully backed up this movie please tell me how, or how i can solve this problem. i appreciate your help.

how long is empire, how many discs is it on- if it looks like a cd, it might be a Video CD. if the movie is 80min or shorter it would be on one video cd and could be mistaken for a dvd, but if it is on 2 im pretty sure its a Video cd
