tried using splinter cell to install softmod when it tried to backup MS there was no MS file on my xbox, my brother has got a later version xbox and he has the MS file on his xbox, is there anyway of installing this file if so where can i get it from and will it be compatable with v1.1 xbox, thanks

Forget compatibility!!!

They are all the same!

Anyway, follow my Softmod tutorial as I said, if it complains, tell me exactly where in the process it stops and what the problem is WORD FOR WORD from the screen!

Then I can help you!
