I have an original copy of Halo3 I'm trying to make a backup of. I'm using the Samsung drive ms28, with xtrem52a drivers, and a VIA 6421 SATA card with 5.20a drivers. I've already ran the activate0800.iso disc, and my computer is reading the drive just fine.
When I attempt to read/backup Halo3 using XBC v 2.6, I get an error that states "Disc already unlocked", and states that it will have to blank out all video, and that it will not be stealth mode compatible. Anyone have any idea's why I'd be getting that error? What am I missing here?
The disk seems to be unlocked already. By continueing, the video section will be filled with empty data and will not be stealth compatible. Do you want to continue?
Alright, found a valid link, installed it, and it worked to make a duplicate of the disc into an ISO. Now from the information I read on that program, it states that it's a 1 step process, and from there, you can burn it. So I opened the image in Nero and burned it. It burned without a hitch. I put it into my Xbox 360 and it said it was a "Mixed Media disc". Was I supposed to do stuff with the ss? I was under the impression that this program took care of all of that. The disks I'm using are TDK DVD+R DL 2.4x.
