my flash won't detect hitachi drive in mode-b

Hi I am brand new here and had a few questions. My xbox 360 is open, sitting next to me, is powered on, and in mode-b via slax method. But when I go to flash the drive it gives me this error




I have tried in the newer iXtreme 1.2 rev3 and this one rev2 and same thing everytime. I am at a loss of what to do, so any help here would be very nice. Thanks.
