hey i am the biggest noob when it comes to this kinda stuff but i need to know how to make the vob files become avi's.....

Try Xmpeg @ http://www.mp3guest.com/Xmpeg_Index.asp?l=US It's very easy to use ass well as powerfull.Looks good too.

thanx minion but when flipping thru the forum i fund the one about encoding the divx codec into things and it turns out i ahve both f those programs.....n e ways the one program that i dont have is AVI-mux and i cant find it anywhere....

lol sorry i meant to say thanx matador.....and thanx again for the mux url.....n e ways i went thru with it allbut i still get no audio form my movie....could it have been sumthing i did with SmartRipper???

I don't use Smart Ripper so i won't know.What movie are you trying to convert?

When encoding make sure you select a Audio Track.

What apps are you using to encode?

i use smart ripper then i use DVD2AVI to make it an AVI file....and the movie i am trying to rip is dragonball z movie 7....though it doesnt matter too much that i dont have sound because i only use them to make high quality anime music videos....but id like to know how to get the sound working coz i may wanna turn other dvd's into vcd's.......


also and i know this is off the topic but on adobe premiere do u know how to put watermarks onto my flicks???

Download this app.It's a plug-in for Premiere.

I think that plug-in will do all you want.Try to use Xmpeg to make it into a AVI file.
