I have used DVD shrink successfully.
The movie plays 100 % from my HDD.
The chapters , subtitles works 100 %.

I used Nero 6.0 to make a DVD video and
this was also 100 % successful (used DVD+RW VERBATIM and HP).

When viewing the movie the chapters do not work - why?

The movie plays but the chapters do not work
i.e. I cannot go next , previous or to a specific chapter on the DVD+RW.

Please help?

When I use the re-author tool in Shrink my menus don't work either. When I don't re-author and just remove the audio and subtitles, the menus are left intact. Lately I have been using CloneDVD and AnyDVD to do complete movies (Get both, free trial!) They work together to both rip and burn your movie. AnyDVD just sits in the background and does the decrypting while CloneDVD is working.
Im hoping Mr. Shrink will figure out how to Re-author AND save the menus. Doing variable compression with Shrink is why I like using it so much.

Guides for Re-authoring using DVD Shrink are avaiable below.

Try CloneDVD and AnyDVD like fasfrank said as they are a great pair which enable you to backup almost every DVD with alot of options like Movie and Menu only, or Movie only etc.
