Hello all im new to the modding this all i want to be able to do is play my original games from my hard drive. i have fat ps2 with HDD installed. From what i read theres some exploits and the hdloader software that one can buy. Can someone point me to some tutorials or sites that will tell me how to go about saving games to HD and running them from there? I dont want to mod my ps2 i just want to be able to play my original games from HD. from way i read you can use exploit to boot hd advance from usb flash drive but i cant find a good tutorial on how to do it. thanks

you can do the memory card exploit since you have a fat ps2. you will need an original ps1 game for the exploit to work.

You will need to have either swap disks or AR Max with usb support to get the exploit onto your memory card.

You need to have a flip top cover or use the slider tool in order to get the swap magic discs to load up hd advance. I will look for a link for you.

from the way i read you dont need swap magic to use exploit. all i need is usb flash drive/ mem card/ code breaker cheat system/ and a ps1 game

you need action replay MAX. i don't think codebreaker will work. HERE are the guides from exploitstation.com.

you need hdloader 0.8b elf, which can be found at sksapps.com, under the ps2 hdd section. you will need to add the elf before you finish creating the exploit file.
