hi guys,
i recently bought a ps3, i was told that i could improve the picture quality by using a hmdi connection instead of the sony leads that came with the ps3, anyway i bought the hmdi cable yesterday and to my surprise there isnt a hmdi port on the tv, the tv is a little over a year old, it says hd ready on the front of the set.its a nordmende NM26X, there is a computer port,a dvi port, and scart ports. my question is can i purchase a cable/adaptor for the dvi port and will it work on the ps3?

HDMI to DVI cable. That should take care of your problem.
