Does anyone on the board use ashampoo burning studio 7 because I just purchased it and I'm having problems trying to burn movie files to a DVD+R disc. I'm not sure what writing speed i should keep it at or what I should click on under "OPTIONS FOR INSERTED DVD+R ". I'm not sure if I should click on any of the 4 options such as #1- verify written folders #2- finalize the disc#- burn DVD at once mode#4-copy all data to hard disc image. So far I can only play the DVDs on my computer and not DVD player. I appreciate any help on this matter because this looks like any easy program to use .

ashampoo is a good program, are the files that you are wanting to burn to disk vob's or avi's? if they are avi't they need to be converted

They are all AVI files. As stated in my previous thread I'm not sure this program is giving options as far as what write speed to choose or if that's important when the Sony DVD+R discs I have will record up to 16x and the other 4 options such as if I should put a check on finalize disc or burn at once mode which i don't what's meant be that. I hate to have to receive a refund because i,m starting to run out of programs to try .

for one thing you did not state that the files were avi's in your first thread, the files will have to be converted to vob complment to be put on a dvd, unless you write the files as data, a good program for converting files is vso convertxtodvd, and if when you go to burn the files to burn your files you can lower the burn speed,in the tab that reads options, try to burn at 4x
