Hi All,

nintendo are giving away free controler covers @ http://wii.nintendo.co.uk you will need you're serial number and you can claim up 4 covers!!

I sent away for mine about a month ago (I live in America BTW). Got them last night and tried them out. They're not bad. Nice feel and grip. The cover has a plug that covers up the nunchuck port too. It's nice but a bit of a pain when attaching anything to the port.

Pros:
- Nice grip
- Safer for kids and gameplay in cramped areas
- Protects damage to the wiimote.
- IT'S FREE!

Cons:
- Expansion pack cover gets in the way sometimes (Maybe cut it off?)
- Need to remove this cover if you want to change the batteries
- It appears that some of the sensor is covered by the plastic
- Need to remove to fit into other accessories (wheel, zapper, Going Mary Wiimote holder that came with One Piece: Unlimited Adventure Pre-order).

hmmmm wonder why they want your serial number and name and address? so they can tell who has a modchip?

wtf? That's probably the most paranoid thing I've ever heard. How the hell would did they tell if your Wii has a modchip by the serial number?

they probably can't, but if they can detect if you have a modchip and if they can read the serial number (both entirely possible) then they could easily work it back to your address

Why would they be giving them away for free? Why not just package them with the console in the first place?
