Just wondering if there is a program/way (maybe guide/tutorial) to identify a disc that's already been made, as to what firmare patch is on it? (ie: ixtreme, xtreme, NME)? I'm getting my stuff from someone else and want to make sure that I don't accidently get a non-stealth game and pop it in, and get banned or something. Is there a less risky way to check than to wait for a banned message?
Also, somebody told me that the 360 has a chassis intrusion detection for people that have opened up the unit to mess with the drive. Does ixtreme stealth this too, or is it just a false rumor?
well what your doing is illegal unless you have a copy of the backup yourself.....but you want to use xdvdmulleter to check if your games are stealthed patched.
also if your iso is not stealth patched to ixtereme compatablity, then xdvdmulleter will autofix the iso with the correct patches....simple as that.....
load your iso
it will auto check after loading....
after you see a screen with all the checkboes on it that you cannot modify....this tells you if the game is patched....tells you the region code and all of the stealth files that have been injected...if missing the ixtreme checkbox, do an autofix on the iso and it will repatch the game to ixtreme patching
obviously you did not do the flash on your 360 yourself but did the guy that flashed it for you tell you what firmware he put on it?
if you have ixtreme firmware on your 360 than it will not play nonstealth games.
No, you got it wrong. I did do the flash myself. I didn't make the backups, somebody else did. But they told me they usually make them in some kinda dual ixtreme/xtreme playable format. SOME of the backups run just fine, and some give me that "insert xbox media disc" error thingy with multiple languages. I'm going to give the dvdmulleter a shot and see if I can verify if this is the case, or that the disc are just coasters.
hmmmmmmm if he stealth patched them then they will work in either ixtreme or xtreme but if you are getting some that wont work than he is giving you crap.
you didnt say what firmware you flashed your system with.
why dont you put a fw bucks in a samsung kreon flashed drive for your pc and backup the games yourself?
I figured it out. I ran the xdvdmulleter program with the dvd in my pc and clicked on the "check iso" (think that's what it was called) button.
I put in a working backup and it showed that "ixtreme patched" was checked, along with a bunch of other things. Then I put in the 2 games dan't weren't working on my 360, and the "ixtreme" box was unchecked. So i'm assuming, it wasn't patched for use on ixtreme and is unable to work with my unit.
I put the 3rd game that SEEMED to want to work, but was leaving the screen on pitch black after starting the game, (no title screen, company info, nothing) and it showed that it was ixtreme enabled, but the box for "video data" was unchecked. All the other working games had this checked. Maybe a bad burn or ISO was made. It did ask me to update before playing, so now i'm stuck with the game info on my 360......is there a way to remove the "games played" data to erase the non-working game info?
