ok, well i installed the chip, but while i was soldering "d" on, it seemed like i just melted it off of the gamecube chip. i asked my dad about it and there was no copper left that we could add solder to, so we connected "d" to what it looked like it connected, which was to the right of "ground". now when i put it all back to together, i dont even get a light nor does it play my backups. any help?
