Hello,
Has anyone been able to run Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem on CFW 3.52 M33-4? I get the black screen of death. I?ve tried various settings in Recovery Mode to no avail.
Thanks in advance for any help!

There's no such thing as a black screen of death, it's just the game isn't loading...
Try upgrading to 3.71 M33-3?
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)

I understand, that's just the phrase I have seen and heard many times to describe this particular condition. I was always able to get out of it.
I'll try upgrading and see if that works, but before I do - I'll ask this question; since you are running 3.52 M33-4 like I am (as noted in your sig), have you tried running this game?

No, and i can't say i've come across a game that needs 3.71 M33 yet, but then i havn't played many of the new games, most look rubbish.

Thanks - I only upgraded to 3.52 M33-4 because I couldn't get Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron to work on 3.40 OE-A. Something about the game requiring 3.52 firmware to run. That's the risk you take with these things. Now, at 3.52, the only game I can't get to run is Bubble Bobble Evolution - same thing happens with the AVP game - just won't load. No big loss on the BBE, but I'll give it another try when I upgrade.

it's not the firmware Aliens Vs Predator Requiem requires firmware 3.51
you have a bad iso the first version that was for download in torrents and newsgroups is nuked ,there is already a good version that i just tested and the game works fine
