hi can someone please help me i just recently bought a psp from my girlfriends brother it is the old size one and its running on custom firmware 3.52 M33-4 the problem is it has started to lag really bad even on the navigation menu i cant bring up the M33 menu as it just crashes....i think its because i formatted my memory card... the memory card is only 32mb the one that comes with the psp, im waiting on a 4gb card to be delivered so i figured i would try and get used to putting files on the memory car so i read sum tforum pages and it said that i need a file named ISO in my psp directory and it wasnt there so i formatted my card and now its there but very slow speed please help me thanks

You must be running custom and have just updated. Its because the CPU Clock XMB has been changed to 20/10 which you have to change in the VHS menu after upgrading. This is how:
Click Select -> Select CPU Clock XMB -> Toggle To Default -> Exit Menu

Should be fine now, however when you bring up the VHS menu it may freeze, if that happens hold the power button and turn off your psp and try again. Because the system is running really slow is also very hard to toggle the VHS menu and it will continually move over each of the options, be patient and wait until it lands of CPU Clock XMB and follow the above instructions. Happy gaming!
