i got a grip thing off ebay so the psp is like holding a psx/2 controller.
i know 99% of the memory cards on ebay are fake, but what about getting an extra battery.

and stupid question, say you have 1 battery in the psp it dies, do you have to have the battery in the psp to charge it?.

1. 80% of eBay has fake PSP batteries. I have been trapped and I've learned my lesson. The best advise that I can give you is to NOT buy 3600mAh batteries, and buy batteries off sellers that has good feedbacks.

2. Yes. You must place your battery in your PSP to charge it.
